THE EVENT PLANNING JOURNAL
GlamBot vs. 360: which video experience fits your event?
Both create movement-driven videos, but they invite guests into different experiences. Choose the look first, then build the floor plan and guest flow around it.

How the video moment differs
GlamBot uses a robotic camera movement to create a directed, cinematic slow-motion moment. The emphasis is on a short performance: a turn, a gesture, a look or a coordinated move. Lighting, framing and timing help shape the result.
A 360 photo booth captures guests as a camera arm moves around the platform. Guests can pose, dance or celebrate together within the approved operating setup. The circular movement creates the signature look.
| Planning point | GlamBot | 360 |
|---|---|---|
| Creative direction | Short, directed red-carpet moment | Posing or movement on the platform |
| Space review | Camera travel, lighting, talent area and operator position | Platform, rotating arm clearance and entry/exit |
| Guest preparation | A simple movement and timing cue | Positioning and movement instructions |
| Output review | Framing, speed treatment and brand finish | Camera framing, video treatment and brand finish |
Ask for the full operating footprint
The visible equipment is only part of the required area. Include guest queuing, operator access, lights, cables and the delivery or sharing station. The approved footprint depends on the actual package and venue. A photograph of an empty corner cannot establish that a setup will fit safely.
Send a floor plan with measurements and nearby furniture. Discuss ceiling height, reflective surfaces, ambient light and access for equipment before the placement is finalized. Keep circulation routes available to guests and venue staff.
Design the guest journey
Arrival and direction
Place a clear entry point where an attendant can explain the experience. A short demonstration helps guests understand what to do. Keep props or costume accessories appropriate to the approved operating setup.
Capture and delivery
Allow time for entry, positioning, recording, exit and sharing. A camera movement lasting a few seconds does not mean a new guest can complete the entire experience every few seconds. Ask the team to estimate participation for your run of show, including peaks and group sessions.
Review the finished video before event day
Confirm the logo placement, opening or closing graphic, orientation and delivery method. A vertical social video may need a different layout from content intended for a ballroom screen. If music is included, agree on the track and permissions appropriate to the intended use. Keep readable text inside the planned output area.
Which one should you choose?
Choose GlamBot when a directed, editorial entrance moment is central to the creative idea. Explore 360 when a celebratory platform experience fits the room and audience. The most useful comparison is a proposal with a sample output, layout, operating plan and complete inclusions.
